Gymnastics - For Coaches and Gymnasts

For everything you need to know about gymnastics

The word gymnastics originates from the Latin word 'gymnasticas' - which basically related to the art of 'being skilled in bodily exercise'.

In this blog I will cover the different pieces of equipment involved in the sport of women's artistic gymnastics and explore the different gymnastic moves, both high and low level. These will include descriptions of how the move is performed and coaching points - to help both the coach and the gymnast improve said skill.
